More Information about Sober Living in El Centro California

The third day after I moved into the Transitional Living Center in El Centro, CA, I met up with my neighbors for breakfast. It was a nice, peaceful day, and when I entered the center, all that could be seen were three bunks that had been piled up in the corner of the lobby. We chatted briefly with the staff at the desk, and she told me that they had just gotten some new residents a few days before. I was glad to see that she was able to share this information with me; it was very comforting. After we chatted a bit, I decided that I wanted to look around, so I went up to one of the bunks, which was a little higher than the other two, and looked around. When I first looked around, I noticed that there were two small dogs sleeping on the bunk above me. When I walked back towards the sober living area, there were three people sleeping on the bottom bunks with their dog. This is not a situation I want to live in, so I immediately called the facility maintenance department and asked for help. The woman on the phone told me they only had so many bunks available, but I had already been sleeping on the bottom bunk. I was able to talk to her about what I was experiencing, and she sent me on my way with some great advice on how to handle the transition living. I would definitely recommend any person looking for a place to live in Southern California to move to the Transitional Living Center in El Centro La. I know I did, and I feel much better now than I ever have before. I am able to pay my rent on time, I’m eating just the right foods, and I have a great support system within the facility. I’m sure that many other people who have experienced the transition living experience can relate.
