Elk Grove is a quaint little strip of southern Illinois. It is located about two hours north of Chicago. There are a number of very charming and unique houses in Elk Grove that I have researched. My favorite three houses include The Lucky Five, The Strand House and Transitional Living. The Lucky Five is located on Ash Street in the downtown area of Elk Grove. The house has been built in the classic Victorian style and is completed with high end hardwood flooring, beautiful brick pillars, and high ceilings. The owner, an attorney, has put a lot of information online about this beautiful home. The Strand House is located on North Avenue just north of downtown Elk Grove. It was designed by the same architect as The Lucky Five and has a similar layout. It has high ceilings, brick fireplaces and hardwood floors. Transitional Living is a unique type of residence that combines the advantages of residential living with some of the convenience of apartment living. It is a truly special place to live. reasonable, so if you are in the market for one, I would definitely recommend that you look into it.
